The Dream On DVD and CD first week sales have just been posted. The results are in and we wanted to share and them with you and thank you for making the Dream On project a great success!
The DVD came in at #3 behind AC/DC and Elton John and just ahead of the Beatles re-release of "All Together Now" ..... Pretty big company!
The Audio CD & DVD came in at #1 on the Southern Gospel Charts
And The Audio CD even hit #4 on the CCM (Contemporary Christian Charts) right behind Michael W. Smith, Mary Mary, The Wow Worship Project and Casting Crowns

Nashville, TN - Multi-award winning quartet, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound has become the first Southern Gospel recording artists to reach the Number One position on the MySpace Christian Music Chart. Additionally, the talented group has risen to the #21 position on the MySpace Top Artists List, surpassing such popular secular recording artists as Paul McCartney, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Kid Rock. According to radio promoter, Rick Hendrix, the group’s success on the popular social networking website speaks volumes about the popularity and broad appeal of Signature Sound. “The recent surge has been amazing,” Hendrix stated. “It’s great to see and hear from teens and adults from all walks of life that are being introduced to Chrsitian music by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. | 9-08-08 EHSS at ACM Honors Show "Elvira" |
As was previously released back in Sept 08, EHSS were invited to sing at the American Country Music "Honor" awards. They were there to honor their friends The Oak Ridge Boys with a medley of thier country hits. Other who were honored that night were Bill Anderson, Conway Twitty, Brenda Lee, Dick Clark and others who were inducted into the Academy.

Nashville, TN—Ernie Haase and Signature Sound joined a stellar cast of artists in the first Academy of Country Music Honors concert held at the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville Wednesday, September 17th. Signature Sound honored their friends, the Oak Ridge Boys, who won the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award. Other artists appearing at the first Honors ceremony included LeAnn Rimes, Amy Grant, Luke Bryan, Richie McDonald, Joe Nichols and Connie Smith.
Ernie Haase & Signature Sound have formed a special friendship with the Oak Ridge Boys over the years, and they amazed the capacity crowd of music industry VIPs by sounding exactly like the Oaks as they wowed with a medley of "Jesus Is Coming Soon," "Y'All Come Back Saloon" and the inescapable "Elvira."
"The Oak Ridge Boys have greatly influenced Ernie Haase and Signature Sound,” Ernie pointed out. “What a privilege it was to pay our respects by singing their songs in front their peers. Their influence has extended to both country and gospel music fans alike...... including EHSS—their biggest fans! They are truly deserving of this honor."
Among those on hand to accept their trophies during the ACM Honors ceremony were the Oak Ridge Boys, Brenda Lee, and Bill Anderson, as well as winners of the Musician of the Year awards. The evening also served to honor Dick Clark, the late Conway Twitty, Porter Wagoner and publishing pioneer Fred Rose.This is the first time these prizes have been awarded separately from the nationally televised ACM Awards in May. Unlike the high-profile performer awards the Los Angeles-based ACM presents on its network television special each May, the special honors are not annually conferred and are voted on by the Academy's board of directors, rather than the organization's general membership.

Nashville, TN (8-12-08) - Ernie Haase and Signature Sound captured Dove Awards for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year and Southern Gospel Album of the Year for Get Away Jordan earlier this year, and now the long-form DVD of the same title has been certified gold by the RIAA.
The DVD, which debuted #1 on the Billboard Music Video chart when it was released by Gaither Music Group in 2007, was produced by Bill Gaither. The Get Away Jordan CD also topped the Contemporary Christian and Southern Gospel music charts in Billboard.
"Every time I hear news about sales and the achievement they signify, I think back to the old school wisdom of my former boss Glen Payne of the Cathedrals," Ernie pointed out. "He would say, 'Liars figure, but figures don't lie!' So here is the 'truth' about these numbers, we are blessed--blessed with a broad base of friends who believe in us and find some hope in our message. And so, for this achievement most of all I thank our fans."
The much-lauded quartet recently taped their second solo concert DVD in Chicago. Dream On will be released October 28th.

and
his

quartet,
the

Vocal
Band,
will

the

recording
artists
scheduled

appear

2008
National
Quartet
Convention.
The
event
is
set
to
take
place
during
the
week
of
September
8
through
13
at
the
Kentucky
Fair
&
Expo
Center
in
Louisville,
KY.

NQC
Vice

Clarke
Beasley,
The
Gaither
Vocal
Band
and
popular
quartet,
Ernie
Haase
&
Signature
Sound,
will
present
the
Together
Showcase
on
Thursday,
September
11.
